Liners Camisas
Designed for use in high mileage in-frame rebuilds, CTP Wet Liners are manufactured to meet and surpass stringent design specifications.
A wet liner has no supporting bore structure and it is held in place by the flange, the flange has to withstand and endure continuous bending and flexing forces. To overcome these stresses all CTP liners receive a Deep Pressure Roll burnishing on the radius directly below the flange. This process strengthens the flange
area by more than 50% and reduces metal fatigue, preventing liner fractures. The liners are induction hardened to decrease premature surface wear. All CTP liners receive a special coating to minimize cavitation damage and resist corrosion.

Engine Bearings Cojinetes
CTP Engine Bearings are constructed of multiple layers, comprised of different metal alloys. The most common is the Tri-metal bearing; composed of a steel backing, followed by a copper plated layer with a lead-tin alloy surface. The Bi-metal bearing has a steel backing with an aluminum bearing alloy. These bearing composites are engineered for durability, conformability and embeddability, while providing high strength and high wear resistance. The aluminum alloy bearings are designed to increase thermal transfer to draw damaging heat away from critical surfaces.

Crankshaft Cigüeñales CTP Crankshafts are made out of forged steel, for strength and durability. The forging process allows for the continuity of material grain flow which assists in the transmission of stresses for maximum strength and reliability. All crankshafts are balanced to perfection, both statically and dynamically to provide a smooth and vibration free operation.

Piston Pistón
CTP Aluminum Pistons are manufactured out of hypereutectic aluminum with a special heat treatment that modifies and improves the
grain structure for added strength and durability. The aluminum hypereutectic alloy provides good wear resistance due to its extreme hardness. The unique characteristics of this alloy provides the piston with exceptional high strength and stiffness that reduces scuffing, while retaining dimension consistencies during thermal expansions therefore improving power, fuel economy and service life.

La aleación de aluminio hipereutéctico ofrece buena resistencia al desgaste debido a su extrema dureza. Rods Bielas
CTP New Replacement Connecting Rods are machined from high- tensile forged steel for high durability. With increased strength and a lightweight design, these connecting rods improve strength more than any other replacement offerings. CTP Connecting Rods are an economically priced alternative to the time and expense involved in salvaging and reworking used connecting rods.

Piston Rings Anillos de Pistón CTP Steel compression rings come with several types of coatings; Moly, Chrome and Ceramic PVD Coatings. These coatings offer higher tensile strength and greater hardness, while offering improved stress resistance and durability. Our secondary
compression rings are manufactured out of non heat treated grey cast iron for better conformability that improves oil control. Our low tension oil rings reduce friction and cylinder wear for longer service life.

Valves Válvulas CTP valves are manufactured under strict guidelines and design parameters to ensure a reliable product. The proper type of
material and design is crucial to the valve operating performance and reliability. Our valves are manufactured from specific alloys depending on the application. Some of these specialty alloys include Stellite™ and Inconel™ two superalloys that are used for their outstanding hardness and toughness and also for their oxidation and corrosion resistant properties, that are well suited for service in extreme high temperature environments subjected to pressure like today’s diesel engines.

WET LINERS
When rebuilding a diesel engine that utilizes wet liners, machining is not required. Although installation is fairly simple “slip fit” installation, liner protrusion is critical and careful measuring of this protrusion is required. CTP wet liners are manufactured for faster break-in and durability.
CTP Wet liners feature:
- Roll burnished under-the-flange radius provides superior strength and prevents fractures.
- Induction heat-treated high-grade steel or gray iron construction offers greater strength and durability.
- Precision manufacturing ensures perfectly round bores and correct cross hatch pattern for quick break-in and proper ring seating.
DRY LINERS / REPAIR SLEEVES
There are several types of dry liners and repair sleeves;
Flanged dry liner, this is a slip type fit, where machining of the block is not required, the flange holds the liner in place, the inside bore is finished and honed.
Interference fit dry liners; these liners must be pressed in place after removing the old liner from the block, some come prefinished and honed.
Repair sleeves, where the block must be bored to accept this type of sleeve, these are interference fit and require pressing, repair sleeves do not come with finished or honed ID. *
CTP Dry liners feature:
- High-grade steel or gray iron construction for durability and strength.
- Precise and uniform outside dimension for ease of installation.
- Pre-finished bore liners have accurate cross hatch pattern finish for quick break-in and proper ring seating. *
